I am Kriish Bendre, an artist who loves exploring, experimenting, and expressing. I am a student of Trinity College studying Filmmaking & Studio Arts. I completed my grade 12 at UWC India after being a student of Rishi Gurukulam for over 12 years. I now aspire to pursue further studies in the field of Arts and Films. Over the years, my creatively inclined personality has explored the fields of arts, music, dance, theatre, and photography as means of self-expression and creation.
Being exposed to different forms of arts and expression from an early age, I have found my way to express myself through a multitude of creative forms. With the continual support from my parents and well-wishers, I devoted more of my time to creative expression and art. My art-making medium varies from pencil works, charcoals, watercolors, acrylics, and oil paints to other 3 dimensional forms like woodwork and installations. My body of work comprises a wide range of ideas presented through different mediums and materials, and each holds a special value. I explore the harmonious balance of traditional Indian and westernized styles of art, exploring the art from the past and present, east and the west. My work gradually develop into pieces displaying fine technical skills and presenting powerful visual narratives.
I believe in the power of visual communication and expressivity. I feels that art has the power to express what other forms of expression hold a limit and therefore, I wish to present the power of art to everyone around the globe.

“ Art is the truest form of expressivity and creation. Art upholds the power to captivate your eyes, touch your heart and question your mind at the same time. Art for me is the freedom of expression - there exists no limits. I create art to show others a glimpse into my world, a creative space beyond the limits of reality and present visual narratives which hold a special value.”
